This is a 30,000 square foot addition to an 81,500 square foot manufacturing facility and office that we previously built in 2012.  The addition provides more manufacturing space and includes an interior mezzanine and small office.  Both the original manufacturing facility and the addition are pre-engineered metal buildings which provided a nearly seamless transition.  During the construction, the Owner decided to incorporate a future Kardex machine in the southwest corner of the Assembly which required the slab to be redesigned due to the significant loading requirements.  This 3,750 square foot area was dug out and repoured with a 10” slab and 2 rows of rebar.
